Advertising workspace privacy

This notice explains the planned use of information in Nordavind Ads Control. LIGHTZON LLC is developing the application for the advertising of its own publishing catalogue in the United States. The Amazon Ads connection is not yet active.

A workspace for our publishing business

LIGHTZON LLC operates the application. Access is intended for authorized personnel working on LIGHTZON's advertising account. This is not an account connection service for authors, other sellers or external advertisers, and visitors cannot connect an Amazon account through this website.

Information expected from Amazon

Once API access and the account connection are authorized, the application is intended to receive LIGHTZON's advertising account and profile identifiers, campaign and ad group settings, advertised product references, keywords and targets, bids and budgets, and the advertising reports available to that account. Reports may include spend, impressions, clicks, search terms and attributed sales metrics.

This information will be used to review the advertising of our books and support campaign decisions. The integration is not intended to request Amazon buyers' names, delivery addresses or payment card details, create audience segments for sale, or resell advertising reports.

How account access will work

Account authorization will take place with Amazon. The application is intended to use the resulting authorization credentials for the permissions granted to LIGHTZON's account. It will not ask anyone to email an Amazon password or enter one on this website.

Access, providers and disclosure

The intended users are authorized LIGHTZON personnel. Technical providers may process information where needed to host and operate the application. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. Amazon processes information through its own services under its own terms and privacy notices.

Advertising data will not be made public through the company website or provided as a service to external advertisers. The public contact address accepts questions and support requests, not account credentials.

Before the connection goes live

The application is in preparation. This notice describes intended processing, not an already operating Ads integration. Before production activation, LIGHTZON will update it to reflect the implemented hosting and processing locations, service providers, access safeguards and retention and deletion arrangements. No fixed advertising-data retention period is represented as implemented at this stage.
