What you are buying

The $34.99 promotional bundle includes one 6 × 9 inch, 144-page, full-color paperback copy of The Rockhounding Encyclopedia; the Rockhounding Location Guide; Rockhound's Field Gear Checklist; printable Field Notes & Logbook; Rock ID Quick Start Video Guide; and access to the Nordavind Digital Catalog as described below. The physical book is shipped. Bonus materials and catalog access are delivered electronically.

Price, timer, and payment

The 10-minute visitor offer begins when this browser first loads the offer and is stored on that browser so refreshing does not reset it. A customer who begins checkout before expiration may complete the secure payment session presented. The $142.95 figure is the combined publisher-assigned individual component value for this promotion; it is not represented as a former retail sale price of the paperback. Your final merchandise price, shipping charge (if any), and applicable tax are displayed before you authorize payment.

Payment is processed by Stripe. LIGHTZON LLC does not receive or store your full payment-card number. An order is accepted when payment succeeds and an order confirmation is issued. We may cancel and refund an order for suspected fraud, a pricing or technical error, inventory unavailability, an undeliverable address, or a legal restriction.

Digital licenses and catalog access

Digital bonuses and catalog files are licensed, not sold, for the purchaser's personal, non-commercial use. You may download available files to your own devices and re-download them without a numerical download limit. You may not resell, publicly distribute, upload to sharing services, remove rights notices, or use them to create competing products.

“Lifetime Digital Catalog Access” means access without a recurring fee for the operational lifetime of the Nordavind Digital Catalog service, subject to these Terms. It covers eligible Nordavind Publishing digital editions that are currently available in the catalog and eligible future editions added to it. A title may be unavailable or withdrawn when digital rights, law, safety, platform security, or a third-party restriction requires it. We may change file formats or delivery systems while preserving materially equivalent access when reasonably possible.

Responsible field use

Locations, access rules, coordinates, land ownership, closures, and collecting limits can change. Before entering land or collecting any material, verify current federal, state, tribal, county, local, and private-land rules and obtain required permission or permits. Use appropriate eye, hand, respiratory, and field protection. The book is educational information and does not replace site-specific safety instructions or professional geological advice.

Intellectual property

The book, digital bonuses, catalog, website, photography, design, trademarks, and related content are owned by or licensed to LIGHTZON LLC/Nordavind Publishing and are protected by U.S. and international law. No rights are granted except the limited personal-use license stated above.

Disputes and governing law

Before filing a claim, please email a written description and requested resolution to lightzonllc@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it promptly. These Terms are governed by Wyoming law and applicable federal law, without depriving consumers of non-waivable rights under the law of their state. Any court proceeding may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction in Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless consumer law requires another forum.

DELIVERY

Shipping Policy

At launch, physical-book delivery is offered to eligible addresses in the United States. Available delivery methods, estimated delivery dates, and any shipping charge are shown during checkout. Orders may be fulfilled by third-party logistics providers, including Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment. Amazon is a logistics provider for those orders and is not the seller, publisher, or sponsor of this offer.

Processing and tracking

Paid orders are normally released for fulfillment within 1–3 business days. Delivery estimates begin after fulfillment processing and may be affected by address issues, inventory transfers, weather, carrier delays, holidays, or events outside reasonable control. Tracking details are sent to the checkout email when available.

Delays and non-delivery

We maintain a reasonable basis for any shipping promise shown at checkout. If we cannot ship within the promised time — or within 30 days when no shipping time is stated — we will request your consent to a revised date or cancel and refund the unshipped merchandise as required by the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate, complete delivery address. Contact us promptly if tracking shows delivery but the package is missing, or if the shipment is returned to sender.

Return & Refund Policy

You may request a return of the physical book within 30 calendar days after recorded delivery. Email lightzonllc@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return before sending anything back. We will provide the return instructions and destination.

• Damaged, defective, or incorrect book: we will arrange a replacement or refund and cover reasonable authorized return costs when a return is required.
• Other eligible returns: the book must be returned in substantially original, resalable condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Digital content: digital bonuses and catalog access are not separately returnable after access or download. When the complete bundle is refunded, the associated digital license and catalog access are revoked.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned book is received and inspected, normally within 5–10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit. Original expedited-shipping charges are not refundable unless the item was defective, damaged, incorrect, or the law requires otherwise. This policy does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how LIGHTZON LLC d/b/a Nordavind Publishing collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit this website, place an order, receive digital content, or contact us.

Information we collect

• Identifiers and contact information: name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery address.
• Order and commercial information: purchased products, amount, tax, shipping selection, order status, returns, and customer-service history.
• Payment information: Stripe payment identifiers, payment status, card brand, and last four digits when supplied to us; not your full card number.
• Internet and device information: IP address, browser/device type, referral data, pages and interactions, approximate location derived from IP, offer start time, and cookie/privacy choices.
• Communications: messages, attachments, feedback, and information you choose to provide to customer care.

How we use information

We use information to present and secure the website; preserve a genuine promotional window; create and process orders; calculate tax and shipping; prevent fraud; deliver physical and digital products; send transactional communications and tracking; manage returns and support; maintain records; understand site performance with consent where required; comply with law; and establish or defend legal claims.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as needed to service providers and recipients that support the transaction, such as Stripe for payment, Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment and carriers for delivery, hosting and security providers, email/digital-delivery providers, tax/accounting providers, and professional advisers. We may disclose information to authorities when legally required, or in connection with a lawful merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising on this site. If that practice changes, we will update this notice and provide the legally required choice before enabling it.

Retention and security

We retain order, tax, and transaction records for the period required by law and legitimate accounting needs; customer-care records for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter; and digital-access records while access remains active. Other data is deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably necessary. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The checkout is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied information may contact us to request deletion.

State privacy rights

Depending on your state and whether the applicable law covers our business, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain sales/sharing/targeted advertising, limit certain sensitive-data uses, or appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. California residents may also designate an authorized agent. We will verify requests proportionately before disclosing or deleting information.

BROWSER STORAGE

Cookie Policy

We use cookies and similar browser storage. Essential storage preserves the promotional start time, privacy choices, security, checkout flow, and other functions requested by you. It cannot be disabled through our banner because the offer and checkout would not work as described. You can remove it using your browser controls, which may reset or disable site functions.

Optional measurement or advertising technology remains off unless you select “Accept Optional” or we otherwise have a lawful basis. No Meta Pixel or comparable cross-context advertising tracker is active in the current site version. Before adding one, this policy and the Privacy Choices control will be updated and the applicable opt-out signals will be honored.

Describe the right you want to exercise and the state where you reside. Do not email payment-card numbers or government identification unless we specifically request a secure verification method.

We honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals when required and technically detectable. Because the current site does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is presently no such processing to opt out of.

UPDATES

Changes to these terms

We may update this Legal Center to reflect product, service, technology, or legal changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively and will be communicated when required. The terms shown at the time of an accepted order govern that transaction unless the law requires otherwise.
